The Experience


At Serata Photography I strive to capture timeless memories of you and your beloved equines and create memorable artwork to be displayed in your home or stable.

1. Book Your Session

When you are ready to book your session and create some magic head online to our booking page you will find our list of available dates and times HERE. These may vary depending on the time of year, or weather. If you cannot see a date that suites, or have a special request of time please email me at and I will organise an appropriate date.

A $50 booking fee is required to secure your booking into our diary and will be refunded or credited toward your order on the day of your design appointment. The booking fee is not refunded if you give us less than 3 days’ notice for the cancellation of your appointment.

Once we have booked a session date, a
pre-shoot questionnaire will be emailed to you, it is quick and only takes a
couple of minutes of your time, this allows us to design your session, your
likes and dislikes as well as what style of art you had in mind.

If you have any special ideas be sure to let me know either in the questionnaire or by email.

3. THE BIG DAY – YOUR Photoshoot

Now for the fun part – Your photoshoot!

I will guide you through an amazing, relaxed and fun experience. During your photoshoot their will be lots of laughs, and you can rest assured with over 15 years of Horse Training experience the session itself is relaxed with no pressure on you or your horse/s.

Just before I leave, I will show you a range of our display options so that you have an idea in mind of what artwork may suite your home and lifestyle. It is important to touch and feel the products to visualise what will suit your home best.

It’s at this time we will also book your Design appointment. 


Design & Ordering Appointment

Your design session is booked for 7 – 14 days after your session, this is where you see the magic created during your photoshoot. These appointments are relaxed and they can be organised after work or during the day depending on your lifestyle.

For those local to the studio (Lancefield)  we ask that you come into the studio to view your images on the big screen, refreshments are provided and you will have a chance to see, feel and hold samples of our products, including Heirloom albums and portrait boxes to Fine art Framed images and Canvas’.

For those not local, or interstate; we use a program called “Zoom” to have a video call where we can talk face to face and view your images together.  For these calls you will need a Laptop and Internet connection (tablets/phones are not suitable)

Depending on your session type we may also be able to have your design appointment while I am there approximately 30-45minutes after your photoshoot.

All artwork is ordered at the design appointment. You’re ready to display artwork will be ready and sent to you approximately 4-6weeks after your design appointment.

design appointment you will receive a $200 gift voucher to use on product as
you wish for past or future photoshoots.

But that’s not all!

Those you refer will also receive their session fee FREE, as well as a Matted 8
x 12” Fine art print (Valued at $185)

Sadly, our horses get older, children grow out of their ponies or we just end up with a new and exciting addition to our Equine family. We don’t want anyone to miss out on memories with their much-loved equines, so as a thankyou your session fees are complimentary for all future sessions to update your artwork.
